We can only offer membership to those over the age of 18 at present.
New to archery
We can offer a tailored training plan to anyone wishing to take up the sport with us.
We arrange our courses for 2 or 3 entrants at a time, when required.
This allows us to spend quality time with each individual.
If you think you would like to try your hand at archery then we can provide a 2 hour Taster Session for you, at a small fee.
It allows you to see our facilities,
meet our members, and our trainers will instruct you so that you can shoot some arrows! We supply all the necessary equipment, insurance and tuition.
If, like many, you are bitten by the bug, and are thinking of joining the club, we can offer you a place on our next Introduction Course. Successfully completion of this course is necessary for potential new members.
This course is run over 3 x 2-hour
sessions. It again includes all the
necessary equipment, insurance and
tuition. The course is intended to ensure that you feel comfortable and confident in your archery when you become a member.

This approach has proven to be very successful. We use quality equipment throughout your training and you can continue to make use of this equipment after joining us for a period until you obtain your own.
We know the vast range of equipment available can be overwhelming but there is no need to worry as we will give full advice and guidance before you make any purchases. That way, you can be sure that the equipment you obtain is suitable for you, and we will obviously be available to help you going forward.
You may join us with the intention of archery being a hobby or pastime, happy to shoot on a regular basis and enjoy the company of our members. You may be surprised to find a competitive streak in you that leads to you wanting to obtain a higher level! We can help you achieve whatever you wish to strive for.
Once you join our club you will
have access to the knowledge

and helpful members.
The trainers often make use of
video and slow-motion imagery,
to help you understand your
equipment and develop your
technique to enhance your
enjoyment even more.
All ongoing training and help is
provided at no extra cost to you.
Experienced archers
We welcome enquiries from
experienced archers, whether
currently active in the sport, or
wishing to return to archery. Please use the link below to advise us of your details.
We would then invite you to attend a session at the club where an informal assessment will be
undertaken. Provided that all
parties are happy to proceed
then membership may be
offered on payment of a
pro-rata membership fee.
